Suggest Remedy For Hammer Toe Repair

Two months ago I had a hammer toe repair on my two little toes. However I am still not able to wear any types of shoes with the simplest of compression due to the fact that some of my dissolvable stiches did not fully dissolve. My doctor advised me that my body did not absorb the stitches. Is this common and what is best way to obtain relief. I am going every two weeks and he is making no attempt to take it out completely. Please advise.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi welcome to health care magic. After going through your query I think you must check blood sugar and other systemic diseases which preclude proper healing. You need rest, and analgesic for some time. Hope your query has been answered. Thanks.
