Suggest Remedy For Headache While Having An Enlarged Lymph Node In Neck

Hello. I have an enlarged lymph node over my right collar bone. Does not hurt. It is moveable to a degree. Bloodwork came back normal with lo potassium level. Chest xray came back good. Had the lump now for 3 weeks. Just started getting dull headaches. No fever. At times night sweats but could be due to my she of 53. Going for axilla ultrasound on dec 3rd. Would that include ghe lump above the collar bone? I feel ok. Can this be a sign of lymphoma?

Hello,

Judging from your description there is no reason to think of a lymphoma, at least not as the main suspect.

Enlarged lymph nodes are very common and usually benign, so given your description of it, the normal blood count and the lack of constitutional symptoms there is no indication of lymphoma.

The ultrasound should include that node which you have noticed as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olsi Taka, Neurologist
