Suggest Remedy For Hematuria With Headache & Ankle Swelling
Hello Dr.Raja,I am male 52, painless hematuria, ESR and CRP high, stiffness in body, frontal both sides headache and center mid part of scalp, severe obstructive sleep apnea, swelling on both ankles.not able to use CPAP, on Zopiclone 7.5 mg daily. See if you can guide me further Regards.Kuldip
The stiffness in the body and swelling in both ankles could be related to arthritis. Fluid retention can also cause swelling in ankles. For this reason, I would recommend checking liver and kidney function tests and performing a cardiac ultrasound in order to exclude possible heart failure. Regarding the sleep apnea, I would recommend taking Modafinil. The headaches could be related to sleep apnea or tension type headache. A brain MRI may be needed. You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
