Suggest Remedy For High Fever With Throat Blisters And Stomach Pains

I came down with some virus 3/10 that put me in bed for 2 days straight- felt like I was dying; high fever (102+), cold sweats, blisters in throat, bad stomach pains, didn't eat for 24+ hours. Dr. prescribed antibodics 3/10 took till last does 3/17. 3/19 @ 3:00 it all came back on again- put me in bed again for 36+ hours & couldn't eat hardly anything. I've been doing salt water gargles & nasal flushes to get rid of the virus which seemed to be helping & then yesterday after dinner I felt like there is something stuch in my throat above adems (sp?) apple. I took benadryl to see if that would help & nothing. Is this something to be freaked out about?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As there are high fever spikes on recurrent basis, I strongly recommend you to get basic lab tests, x-ray chest with your doctor and start intravenous antibiotics with anti-inflammatory drugs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
