Suggest Remedy For Hypothyroidism
Dear Doctor,
I'm an 25 yr old married woman. My height is about 5'5 feet, 62.5 kgs. I'd been taking Thyroid medicines for about 4-5 yrs (on account of Hypothyroidism). Before my marriage, I stopped taking these medicines and it's now 10 months that i stopped taking medicines. Recently i went in for some blood tests, which revealed that my TSH was 37.6 , Antibodies were on 14.68, Thyroid Microsomal Abs on 156.13. Consulting the doctor, has put me on Euthyrox tablets.
I and my husband want to plan for a baby in a year's time from now. Are these test results indicating any problem to conceive? I've been searching on Google regarding this, and the searches revealed some bad news. Please suggest and help.

I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
You have history of hypothyroidism.
So you have to take thyroid supplement drugs for long time. You should not stop it without advice.
Now your TSH level is very high with thyroid auto antibodies. So you need to take thyroid supplement drugs to control your thyroid hormones.
You can take eltroxin, synthroid or any other supplement according to advice.
Hypothyroidism causes problems in conceiving. It also leads to developmental disorders in foetus. So first correct your hypothyroidism.
