Suggest Remedy For Itchiness And Discomfort Around The Anus

Went to a std clinic who took a swab from my urthra. Under the microscope they found bacteria and said it may be non specific urethritis (will be sent for further testing). Or it could be chlamydia or gonorrhoea. Anyway they gave me 1000mg of Zithromax and my symptom of penile discharge has gone. However I have a itchy feeling in my urethra and feel discomfort around my anus/back of scrotum. Should I be worried and what should I expect?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of Urethritis and getting treated with Azithromycin 1000 and the pus discharge stopped.
Now still have discomfort at anus and lower part of scrotum.
The possible causes are as follows:
Prostatitis gives similar results
Urethritis takes more time to heal.
There can be a local problem of ano- proctitis.
Skin problem of scrtal skin.
I would advise you the following.
Per-rectal digital examination.
Ultrasound
Tests of stool and related blood test.
Further treatment as per the reports and remember that the treatment can be of long duration.
