Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 49 years old and everytime I stoop or go to sit on something low to the ground, my knees snap or pop. They have done this for quite some time, but I m wondering if I should have any concerns since I m getting older. My Mother has had knee replacement surgery three years ago and my sister (52) just had some kind of surgery. Thanks!
Do you feel any pain in your knees? Is there any swelling? If there is no pain or swelling than nothing to worry about but if you feel pain then get your X-rays done.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Jaideep Gaver, Orthopedic Surgeon
