Suggest Remedy For Knots & Bruises In Hip

Hello my 13 yr old slipped and fell on a tile floor yesterday and got a huge knot around his hip area, today it is bruised and it all has been achy and painful for him. Should I just ice it and give him tylenol or should I take him to the doctor to be checked further?

These changes are quite normal due to soft tissues injury. As long as his gait is normal, he has no fever and no weakness there is no need for further check up.
