Suggest Remedy For Lightheadedness And Vertigo Post Paridontal Surgery

My husband has had light headedness, vertigo since wed. when he had paridontal surgery, He had taken 1000mg of ibuprofen 1hr before on an empty stomach. After surgery he became very nauseated and was unable to drive do to vomiting. He went home with his sister to recover. He took a total of 2 hydrocodone before the evening ended and he went to bed. Since then he has had trouble with vertigo for the past few weeks he has complained of being tired,d and now light headed when he arises. He doesn t seem to be able to walk normally, more like he is on a boat. I am a retired cardiac intensive care nurse. I tried to listen to his carotid artery I could hear it well on the left but not on the right, it is there but much softer.(I have a cardiac stethescope) I can feel all of his other pulses well.
