Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

Severe diarrhea could be infective (virus, bacteria, parasite) or dysentery or lactose intolerance or irritable bowel syndrome etc.

You may need to underho for routine blood count, electrolytes and stool examination with ultrasound abdomen to detect the exact underlying cause.

Treatment is mainly depend on the underlying cause but you may require antibiotics (ofloxacin with metronidazole) if infective diarrhoea, prebiotics and probiotics, antispasmodics, antacids, antiinflammatories etc.

There might also be need of water and electrolytes balance in the the body as you said you had a diarrhoea more than 2 times a day.

You consult your gastroenterologist for further advise immediately.

Regards,
