Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 39 yr old female and have been expierencing nausea after eating for over 2 years now. It is not constant but happens at least for two weeks out of each month. Immediately after eating I feel extremely nauseous and my mouth will start watering really bad, sometimes I throw up but most of the time I try to hold it back because I hate throwing up. I have noticed that diet sodas will trigger nausea if I have them with a meal and it is hit or miss with other foods. I had a hysterectomy in Nov 09 and thought that may help because before that I noticed it would always get worse around ovulation but it still hits me every month just like before. Could this be hormonal because I just had a CT scan done of my abdomen with normal results although I am getting a second opinion because I have lower back pain and abdomen pain on the right side. Any advice of help you can give me is greatly appreciated because I feel like I keep going down dead ends and the Dr s dont take my symptoms seriously

Suggest Remedy For Nausea After Eating
Hello, Nausea and vomiting after eating with watering from the mouth may be due to acute gastritis or peptic ulcer disease or cholecystitis or appendicitis etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Get it done ultrasound abdomen and endoscopy. Avoid carbonated drinks and spicy food. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
