Suggest Remedy For Pain In Right Side Of The Stomach

Hi. My daughter is 12. She is 5 6 and about 120 lbs. She complains of stomach pain on right side every time she eats. She says it has been doing this for a month or longer. She has had pain like this before throughout her life but it usually goes away in a day or two. We have never had her tested for allergies. We thought she just had eaten something that was too rich for her stomach. Im a little worried now because the pain is not going away. what do you think?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your 12 years old daughter who is 5'6'' and about 120 lbs, has pain in the right side of abdomen every time she eats. Not tested for allergies, thinking that she has eaten something which is too rich for her stomach.Pain is almost thre for almost more than a month.
My thoughts:
This is surely a reason for such pains:
I would advise her the following:
Get the stool tested for 3 consecutive days to get a proper reports and not to miss anything.
Tests of blood and urine.
Ultrasonography of the abdomen and CT scan if required as this alone can tell us the probable reasons which are as follows:
Appendicitis
Meckel's diverticulitis.
Right ovario-tubal problems
Lymph nodes in the mesentery.
Tuberculosis or Crohn's
Worm infestation.
Once the diagnosis is made the treatment can be planned as surgical or medical as would be required.
