Hi, I had a spermatacele removed 6 months back because I ve had this on and off nerve pain on the left side or back of my left testicle, not even sure that was the cause of the pain to begin with because its still the same pain..Very sensitive to the touch in those areas. In fact the pains a bit delayed after a touch, the urologist says alls well. Gets irritated even when I sit,any kind of bump to it...Yet when examined feels normal. Used antibiotics too, should I stay on them a few weeks? The cyst was by the epiditamos. Is that in the back? Could scar tissue or inflammation have replaced the spermatacele?
HI. Noted your history of surgery for spermatocele but the pain still remain there and do not know the reason. I would advise you the following: Observe if you have any other symptoms in the scrotum or lower abdomen. Any urinary tract infection. Get the following investigations: Ultrasonography and color doppler of the area to see there is any other problem like epididymitis or cyst of the cord or so. Get the second opinion of another Urologist as the first one has said that everything is fine. If there is a pain, there has to be the reason hence go on digging till the cause is found and removed. Another possibility is nerve entrapment either in the scar or anywhere above. Try to find out this too.
