Suggest Remedy For Pain On The Clavicle Post Injury

My 13yo daughter had a cheerleading injury to her clavicle(left)The left side protrudes more than opposite side. Orthopedic doctor ordered a CT scan. Insurance denied order. It s been 2 and half weeks. Dr office and imaging office is telling me there is a peer review set up. My daughter states pain isn t so bad now. Wondering if I should take her to ER?

I really appreciate your concern, if you have taken the orthopedic opinion then it is advisable to have it and also may need some imaging study, and it is better to go to ER, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
