Suggest Remedy For Painful Cramps In Pelvic Bones

I m a 38 year old female. My last 2 periods have been very painful. Cramping...but more painful above my pelvic bone. Making it hard to walk sometimes. My stomach has also been very bloated and sensitive when I touch it. Went to my doctors last month and they gave me stronger pain meds...but I m wondering if there may be an underlying problem. Should I suggest an ultrasound?? Just wondering if this could be more serious than just a touchy period. I used to be on the pill to help with my periods but I stopped taking those about 2 years ago.

Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to fibromyoma (fibroids) or ovarian cysts. For this reason, I agree with you that it is necessary performing an abdominal ultrasound in order to investigate on this possible issue.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
