Hi my name is Rebecca, I have been having diarrhea for the last 2 weeks. When I eat something it doesn t go straight through. But when I do go it seems to be in a state of diarrhea. light stomach cramps sometimes. then sometimes as long as I am sitting or laying down ,no movement I will be alright. But almost immediately when I get up from where I have been sitting or laying I ll have to go. and it will be diarrhea. yesterday I think I saw some Mucus. Do you have any idea what this sounds like. I have done some reading and I thought it might sound like stomach flu.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of suffering from diarrhea for the last 2 weeks. There are mild stomach cramps, diarrhea on getting up from the resting position. There was mucus yesterday. The most probable cause can be gastroenteritis which the body could not self control. Hence I would advise you the following: Consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and lab for the stool, urine and blood. Get an appropriate antibiotic and metronidazole cover and you would be fine.
