Suggest Remedy For Persistent Headache

Dear Dr, my daughter, who s 5 yrs old, 2nd KG student, has been complaining about head ache on the forehead, especially above the left eyebrow. 3 days back she was taken to a Paediatrician who prescribed him Azithromycin cyrup (5ml for 3 days) + paracetamol and antihystamin cyrup for synus infection. However, the head ache persists (now more than 5 days). She is active and still going to school and sometimes complaints of headache. Appreciate your valuable advise.

Hi,

Headache in a small child must be taken with caution, so my advice to you to see a neurologist as she may need to do CT brain to exclude any brain abnormality.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
