Suggest Remedy For Rashes On Body After Taking Piriton And Actifed Syrups

My daughter has lots of sneezes and went to see doctor. The doc asked her to take 5ml piriton syrup and 5ml actIfed syrup 4 times a day. She is 7 years old. She had twice yesterday and today, after taking the 4th time, she is now having rashes all over her body. Is she getting an overdose and also what should I do now ?

Hi
Welcome to the healthcaremagic
Yes.
She is receiving overdose of medicine.Piritone CS and actifed DM contents are similar. They can be given maximum three times a day.Either of two.
Rashes might not be due to this medicine. They might be due to some food allergy or viral infection. You can give her fexofenadine for that after consulting your doctor.Fexofenadine can not be given along with these cough syrups
Happy to help you
Best regards
