Suggest Remedy For Red Bruise And Pain In Buttocks Due To Sitting

I sat for a long time on a metal folding chair for my graduation practice, robing ceremony & graduation, equal to around 6 hrs. I now have a thin red line in between my butt cheeks that hurts! It feels bruised & is an absolute pain to sit/ lay down. How can I treat this?

Hello
I really appreciate your concern
Looking at your description this might be suggestive of fissure in Ano.
Please follow these guidelines for its rapid healing and early recovery
Avoid constipation by taking laxatives or stool softeners like lactulose or liquid paraffin.
Lignocaine ointment to be applied locally
sitz bath twice daily
anti acidity medicines like pantoprazole or omeprazole with antacids are advisable
have lots of fresh fruits and vegetablesand dietary fibers for healthy colon
Avoid sitting in one position for long duration.

if it doesn't improve with it than you should consult a general surgeon for clinical examination and a course of antibiotics under supervision.

Hope this answers your question
Best wishes
