Suggest Remedy For Red Spots On Legs

So I m a 16 year old teenage boy and I noticed on my leg a small red spot almost like a pimple I think. We ll I picked it (popped) and it scabed but now it s bigger and has like a red ring around it. I notice another small red spot on my other leg I ll upload pics of both legs. I can t tell if it s just a scab or something worse. I m confused on how it goes so big. Ive been sing hydrogen peroxide to clean it.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history your child is having folliculitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
