Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was told I have SRS I have two broken bones in my lower back and arthritis up and down my spine already when I wake up on my left side I feel as if I am broken all up inside but that it s a thousand pounds in me and it hurts so bad I cry with the pain just getting to my back which hurts just as bad but I have to do that to get out of bed. Why do I hurt so much? What can be done? Why does it seem to be getting so bad so quick?
After going through your query I came to know that you are suffering from chronic backache. It may be lumbar spondylosis. It can be confirmed by x-rays. MRI of spine rule out other causes. Back exercises, Diacerine, glucosamine sulfate neurotropic such as methycobalamin and analgesics (DICLOFENAC 100 MG SLOW RELEASE TABLETS) give relief. Sometimes vitamin D deficiency can aggravate this so serum vitamin D test is advised if it is low than vitamin D supplementation will be required. Avoid long continuous standing. Sit in a straight posture. Eat milk, fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
