Suggest Remedy For Severe Bloating When On Domperidone

take 4 mg daily for lung disease for last 6 months. I was on 20mg and am weaning down I take domperidone and tecta for indigestion 2 hours after eating i get severe bloating. nothing seems to alleviate .is there any way to lessen the gas pains I am 73 years of age

Hi,

I am sorry for the situation you are in.

Having bloating immediately after eating can be eased by :
- continue taking domperidone
- run upper endoscopy to exclude gastritis /GERD
- run abdominal ultrasound to exclude biliary issues
- stool culture us advised to exclude candida infection
- eat often, small portions and chew up slowly
- avoid foods that would cause bloating (beans, etc)
