My 11-year old son has had 4 severe nosebleeds lasting upwards of an hour in the last 2 days. All have been spontaneous and with thick clots. Two of these were when he was resting, two when he was having a heated moment with a sibling (words only, nothing physical) We ve taken him to the ER twice now only to be told he needs saline sprays to combat the dryness and not to worry so much. He s in good shape otherwise. I want to take him to his primary doctor but his dad thinks I m overreacting.
