General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, post traumatic or surgical arthritis is very well known concern which can pause various disorders of movements of the involved joint structures. My guidelines at present:
- Immediately consult her ortho surgeon for evaluation on clinical grounds and later he may suggest CT scan or MRI (if no prosthesis in situ at present)
- Primary care with local application of heating pad analgesic spray or ointment with diclofenac, linseed oil and camphor
- Analgesic and anti inflammatory as diclofenac, tramadol hydrochloride with antacid if no history of drug sensitivity
- Control of body weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, BP

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
