Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Lower Stomach

I was sitting in a position with my knees close to my chest today and when moving from that position to a normal pose i felt a sharp pain in the very centre of my lower stomach. It feels directly where my iud is placed. The severe sharp pain has calmed down, flaring up every once in a while but an ache has set in. For hour now just in that one spot. It felt like pain of having your uterus almost punctured or having something pushed into the walls. Never had pain like this before and there os no bleeding that i can see but the pain is enough to keep me up.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

A severe sharp pain that you are having can be related to a urine infection or a pelvic inflammation caused by IUD. This needs a few tests and an ultrasound scan to find the exact cause. Oral anti spasmodics can help temporarily.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rakhi Tayal,
