Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i am 34 yrs old. 6 2 and 180 lbs. my wife has been checked out by her gynecologist a couple times now because she had a strong fishy smell. no extra discharge, no other abnormalities. she was put on an antibiotic both times and symptoms cleared up each time. her gyn is suggesting that possibly i am the issue. i am otherwise healthy, no stds. her gyn suggests that i go see my primary care to get myself checked out. it might just be a matter of taking antibiotics. my question is... what could possibly be the problem and should i go see a urologist instead of my primary care doctor? thank you.
If a partner is getting infection even after taking antibiotics it means she is getting frequent infection. You can have symptomless infection and from you she is getting Infection. So take doxycycline you will b fine soon and your partner will not have reinfection. This medicine c. B prescribe by any doctor. One or two dose will make yoh infection free. So dont worry. Hope my suggestions helpful and thankful to you. Take care.
