Suggest Remedy For Shifting Of Jaw Plate

Hi my friend got her jaw broke 2 years ago and had a plate fitted. She feels that the plate has shifted upwards and is worried it may eventually come out. As she sings for a living this is quite a worry of hers. She wants to go to the doctors to see if they can re position it as the morning after a performance she is finding it hard to even open her mouth. Is this something that will be fixed quick or will she need to stop singing for a while?

I would suggest her to show it to doctor and get CT scan. We have to find out if still there is fracture or it is completely healed. if fracture is healed then there is no need to reapply plate again but if fracture is still there then she might need to keep plate on.
