General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, he might be having a fever with chills, or it might be a convulsion.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
he may need to have M.R.I. , and other tests for diagnosis.
If after control of the shivering, it may be the fever, may be malaria, U.T.I, or some thing else.
If no fever is there , it could be the convulsions, and treated accordingly.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, paracetamol, and chloroquine.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
