Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
When my patients cannot tolerate an increase in dose, I roll back their dose to what was tolerated well before. If the symptoms are not controlled, I add a second drug.
I think you may go back to your earlier tolerated dose of 50mg.
If 50 mg is not helping you to control your migraine attacks, then i would suggest adding a bet blocker if there are no contra indications.
If you have more queries, I shall be happy to answer.
Wish you good health
Dr Noble Zachariah
