Suggest Remedy For Sinus Pressure Causing Numbness Around The Face And Tongue

HI, I think I'm having sinus pressure, I have done a steam cup with some essential oils and it relieves pressure but the main concern is I feel a weird numbness almost around my face and tongue area. Like if I try to eat something it just seems like I don't really know where the food is in my mouth if that makes sense. Or if I'm trying to drink something it feels weird putting the cup to my mouth.

Hi dear ,

As per your query you are experiencing sinus pressure and numbness around face . The symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a problem of nerve compression and sinusitis . Sinusitis occur due to inflammation of sinus because of infection and cause congestion that cause pressure in mouth . It good that you are taking steam and i suggest you to continue taking steam as it will help in reducing congestion and relieve pressure . I would also suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may order X-ray or CT scan along with blood tests . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course ( penicillin or amoxicillin ) along anti inflammatory at leat for 10 days . If numbness persist even after treatment of sinusitis then consult neurologist .
