Suggest Remedy For Small Bump On The Middle Finger

A few months ago, I developed a very small firm bump on my middle finger, just on top of the knuckle, near the fingernail. It has slowly moved downward toward the nail and gotten a bit larger... about 1/4 in size. As it has gotten closer to the nail, the nail has now developed a concave section with ridges on either side running from the base to the outer edge of the nail. It doesn t hurt and is only slightly redder than the surrounding tissue. What it that all about?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having a wart around finger-nail.
My treatment advice -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it to prevent infection.
3. Take a vitamin A supplement once daily for 3 months.
4. Other treatment options are cryotherapy, cauterization or laser ablation done by a dermato-surgeon.

Thanks.
