Suggest Remedy For Sore And Itchy Skin Near Vagina
the skin near my vagina is very red and itchy and when I itch it there seems to be open cuts on the skin which are very painful. the skin feels very thin and sore and also i have an increased amount of discharge recently although i dont know if that is related which also seems different in colour (more yellowish/greenish). I have been applying nappy rash cream (sudocrem) to the area but my skin has been sore and itchy like this for a month.. is this anything serious?

Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Your problem is most likely bacterial vaginosis associated with yeast infection. It is better to get a pelvic exaination by a gynecologist and swab to rule out the condition. For such condition in my patients i treat with antibiotics with combination of metronidazole or clindamycin with clotrimazole as vaginal suppository or as oral tablet. I also advise to use intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH and there by prevent getting further infections. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
