Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat With Swollen Tonsils

Hello, over the weekend I had oral sex with the first time ever with a guy I didn t know very well. About 2 days after i started having a mildly sore throat Now 5 days later it is worse than ever. My tonsils are swollen (but i have no white spots) it is nearly impossible to swallow anything, the tastebuds in the back of my mouth are also swollen and i feel faint. Otherwise, I feel alright-- glands are not swollen, i have no loss of appetite (although i cant eat anything) and i dont have a headache or cough. Is this just a sore throat? Or is it something more serious? Can i treat it from home?? Thank you , i can t tell if i m just paranoid or not.

HI.
Due to oral sex , it is possible that you have contracted Pharyngitis with Tonsillitis and even the Lingual Tonsils are inflamed.
Go for blood test for infection and STDs, Pharyngeal swab for gram staining , culture and sensitivity. Get an antibiotic cover till you are fully cured of this.
