Suggest Remedy For Starchy Throat

A couple of days ago I helped a neighbor remove and replace some old rotted wood flower boxes. As I was cutting up the old wood I noticed I was creating a lot of dust. Unfortunately i was not wearing a dust mask so I'm sure I must have inhaled some of it. Anyway that night I noticed my throat was getting scratchy. It only got worse the next day. Last night I had post nasal drip and this morning I started coughing up yellowish mucus which has a metallic taste.
Any ideas?
