Suggest Remedy For Stiffness And Soreness In Thigh

Hi I am 47 years old female and for over a year nearly 2 have been having trouble with striffness in my right hip.it originally occurred if i was sitting/driving the car and even on short journeys I would have difficulty getting out of the car elegantly and have to walk out my limp.over the last year it as been getting worse and even in bed it hurts and I tend to lay on my RHSide - on holiday i though a different mattress and laying on the opposite hip would help, but not.the hip constantly feels sore in differing strengths and sometimes my feet really hurt.

I have studied your case and I think there can be two possibilities in your situation.
1. It can be nerve compression in the back which is causing redicular pain in leg. It is caused by disc herniation in the spine. To confirm this diagnosis I would suggest you to get MRI of the spine. If there is compression present then you will need back muscle strengthening exercises. I would also recommend you to take Pregabalin and Meyhylcobal tablet.
2. Other possibility can be hip synovitis or arthritis. It can be confirmed by MRI of the hip joint. If there is synovitis is present then it can be treated with help of physiotherapy, hot water fomentation. I would also recommend you to take a opinion of sports medicine specialist regarding this.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other follow up questions.
Thanks.
