Suggest Remedy For Stomach Ailment After Angioplasty

Hi, my mother 53 yrs, is a diabetic and has undergone angioplasty. She is out of the hospital but has been suffering with severe loose motion, gastric and acidity. Her food is quite normal and we do not find a reason why this is happening. Need some guidance.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, If your mother is suffering from diarrhea with the history of angioplasty, if the patient being given antibiotic then it could antibiotic induced diarrhea, once the patient finishes the course of medicine then the diarrhea overs.
If this is not the antibiotic induced diarrhea then it could be due to intestinal infection, and the most important is if the passing of stool three to four time in day is normal one and it may not be due to any disease and it does not need any treatment neither it is to be worried.
Medication:- Anti protozoa single does therapy can be tried on tentative basis, you can discus with doctor for this.
hope this information helps.
