Suggest Remedy For Stomach Ailment
My 2 and 1/2 year old daughter's belly is hard and she has been complaining for th elast couple of days that her belly hurts. She had 3 lose bowels yesterday but none so far today. She was on Prednisolne for Croup earlier this week and yesterday was the last day of her taking the medicine. Is this normal with this medicine or should I be concerned?

In my opinion, your child seems to have steroid induced gastritis. prednisolone can cause gastritis. Now that the drug has been stopped it will be advisable to wait for a day or two. Give her cold milk when she complaints of stomach pain. Other you may need to start junior lanzole.
