Suggest Remedy For Stomach Ailment

Hi docter, my husband aged 29 yrs, got a stomach pain 2 days before. We went for a,lower abdominal scanning. In ,that scan report, its mentioned as pancreas shows a mild coarse echotexture.... Is that something to get afraid of. Else What are the measures to prevent ourselves? And also he,is,quite heavty person. Weight is 90 and height is 6 0. Please advise,us on his food,habits

Hi thanks for contacting HCM....

Here mild pancreatic inflammation can be there as per USG report....
For that serum lipase and serum amylase estimation done....

Usually as you are obese , pancreas inflammation can be because of gall stone..
So if suspected CT scan will be helpful...

Rest is taken....
As far as diet is concerned low fat diet taken.
Soft and bland diet taken...
Fruit juice more....
Antibiotic given prophylactically....
If pain more simple analgesic taken...

As far as habit concerned avoid alcohol and smoking ......

Weight has to be reduced.....

Take care....

Follow up done after few days.
