Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I've had this problem for several years- long enough that I can't remember when it started (I'm almost 30). After I eat a reasonably sized meal I have an empty feeling in my stomach. It's not quite a burning, but there is some burning in it. Like there's a big black empty hole in my stomach. If I start eating again and gorge myself it usually goes away but the feeling will be there and maybe even worse the next time. I'm eating really healthy, well rounded meals (vegetables, protein, carbs). Other people seem to feel satisfied after a meal. I just feel emptier than before I ate. Any ideas?
Just check your suffering from Gastritis or gastric ulcer diseases which may cause increase pain after burning. Other possibilities are hypermetabolic states hyperthyroidism, diabetes mellitus et cetera.
Please avoid spicy food and alcohol. Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week.
If symptoms do not improve, please consult your gastroenterologist, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
