Suggest Remedy For Stomach Problem After Alcohol Consumption

Hi , Ive had some stomach problem for a while, if i drink any alcohol and lay down anywhere near 5 hours afterwards i feel incredibly ill for the whole of the next day, I barely drink anymore but it would be nice just to have one beer or a glass of wine in the evening now and again without this annoying problem. I have drank non-alcoholic beer and havent had the symptoms and I am fine drinking non alcoholic fizzy drinks so I assume it isnt the acid content of the drink. My doctor put me on a variety of different antacids and Proton Pump Inhibitors but no luck in curing anything. I found drinking Apple Cider Vinegar diluted with water after having a beer can sometimes help but it isnt solving it completely. I also used to have esophageal spasms fairly often but they've settled more now recently so I dont get them very often apart from the odd occasion. This has been going on for over 2 years now and happened for the first time while I was in my second year of university in which I drank fairly heavily as is the norm at university.
