Hello,

Since she is a known case of diabetes in which the controlling hormone Insulin secreted by the pancreas, and pancreas has stones into it needs proper evaluation and medical management at first for proper control of diabetes and any symptoms related.
Proper evaluation needs consulting a gastroenterologist medical and surgical both who are highly experienced in pancreatic procedures, get all the relevant tests for a proper diagnosis to decide the further management. There can be cannulation of the pancreatic duct. If everything fails then only surgical removal, and required procedures in vogue at the time can be considered as all these have complications and hence you all have to know all these in advance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant
