Suggest Remedy For Stuffy Nose With Scratchy Throat & Whistling In The Ears

I currently have a stuffy nose and had faint smell of bleach, but I think it was from my clothing. Last night I was doing cleaning and used a lot of bleach after I spilled something. I opened the door to get fresh air once my eyes started to burn badly. I was exposed openly to the bleach for about 10 minutes, 20. A few minutes later I went to bed and realized I could not taste my beverage or peanuts. I m awake about 12 hours later right now and it s still stuffy with no taste. Bit worried. My throat is scratchy as well. I am 22, female, 140 lbs, 5 4, and I have tinnitus/ear ringing and stinging. My ears are randomly whistling now. Thank you.

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
This could be secondary to chemical induced inflammation of your respiratory mucosa.
You know that, a tiny tube called Eustachian tube connects the ear with back of nose, which ventilates the ears and maintain the pressure inside the ear.
Secondary to inflammation you have developed dysfunction of this tube leading to ringing sound in ears.
Nothing to worry. You will be fine.
I recommend the following.
1) Oral decongestant levocetrizine with phenylephrine
2) oxymetazoline nasal drops.
3) tablet paracetamol for pain relief.
