Suggest Remedy For Swelling And Bruise On Forehead
My dad in his eighties tripped and fell hit his forehead on the hard floor.stitches needed for forehead ,no concution. His one hand, they say is not broken, doctor didn t it necessary for X-Ray. Hand still swollen and bruised. What could be making the swelling and bruising last so long?

hi. elderly people are prone for fractures. and you say he has swelling and bruising present. these symptoms can be due to soft tissue injury but can also be due to a fracture.
in my opinion it's best not to take any chances and get an x-ray done.
