Suggest Remedy For Swelling And Pain In The Knee

I had a knee replacement 15 years ago and I am having pain on the outside of my right knee. I had to stop using my elliptical because of the pain. It is a little swollen and I can touch where the pain is and pushing on it increases the pain coachkivy

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you got knee replacement 15 year back. Now you have swelling on outer side of knee which is painful to touch. I think it is due to inflammation. You can take anti inflammatory such as ibuprofen for reduction of inflammation for a week. If it is reduced, then it is OKAY. If it does not reduces then you need to get your x ray done to see condition of the joint. You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
