Suggest Remedy For Swelling And Pain In Vagina

I have had a few yeast infections due to being on 3 rounds of antibiotics (upper respiratory infections, I have asthma). Now at the back of the vagina opening (perineum area) it is swollen and painful. What would be causing this and what should I do about it? I have been using a Nystatin and Triamcinolone cream that the doctor prescribed at another time, but I m doing so with hesitance. Should I be using it?
