Suggest Remedy For Swelling In Ankles

Hi, Doctor, my ankles swell badly soon after I get up and I have been wearing stockings but they are probably not the best ones to help. How useful are these stockings and does weight have anything to do with it? I have done blood work and everything is ok. Monique

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you has swelling of both. Main cause of swollen ankle is kidney or heart disease.You have rule out kidney disease by blood work which you said is normal.Now you should work out heart related cause by investigation such as echocardiography.
