Suggest Remedy For Swelling In Ankles,high BP And Arthritis

My mom is 87 yrs old, with high blood pressure and arthritis. She has been taking Gabapentin for about 18 months. I am concerned about the side effects, I cut her dosage to a capsule every other night, the only change in her meds but lately she has had more trouble with swollen ankles...are any of these related

Hi Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that your mother is having high blood pressure and osteoarthritis. These conditions may be related to her swollen ankle. Cutting of dose of gabapentin is not related to her swollen ankle. Try to keep her BP under control to reduce swelling. For arthritis diacerine and glucosamine is useful .
