Suggest Remedy For Swelling In The Butt Crack

At the top of my bottom at the crack it is really painful and swollen. I can t sit properly and I have to lay on my stomach because being on my side makes it hurt just as much. When I try to walk I have to kinda bend over a little and bending down to much is extremely painful. I tried taking pain reliever for it but that didn t help. What could it be and should I go to the doctor?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are having sever pain on bottom of crack, it is also swollen. I fear that whether you are suffering from gluteal abscess. You are already taking pain reliever but these are not helping. Whether you are also having fever? You should consult general surgeon for it as it may require incision and drainage, a type of short operation. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
