Hi thanks for asking question.
You have two possibilities.
1.First most likely cause is acute tonsillitis.
In which throat pain with slight difficulty in eating can occur.Amoxyclav like antibiotic needed for it.
2.Second it can be posterior pharynx wall infection or inflammation. The pharyngeal wall will be congested in such case.
Drink boiled water daily.take semisolid diet with more fruit juices.
Avoid smoking.
Do salt water gargle two times a day.
Steam inhalation is helpful.
Eucalyptus and peppermint useful in relieving respiratory soreness.
If still your symptoms worsening then chest x ray , laryngoscopy like investigation needed according to physical examination.
Wish you good health.
