Suggest Remedy For Swollen Legs And Ankles With Mild Fever And UTI

Hi, I have had a UTI the last 3 mo. This last 1 had blood, &white bold cells. They have all been cultured so right med is prescribed. Started stronger dose Saturday. My legs and ankles are so swollen. Hands some. Back discomfort and mild temp. Any suggestions on what else to do? Thanks

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

You have UTI since long time....
So antibiotic given according to culture ....

But you have edema also with back pain ..
Measure your blood pressure also ...
Here it could be associated nephritis syndrome or glomerulonephritis .....
For that USG done and urine for protein also examined....

If suspicious of it for further subclassification renal biopsy needed .....
For that steroid given for treatment ....

I would suggest you to consult nephrologists for detail examination and accordingly investigation....
